Revell-Monogram has produced the -F and the -G as well as a Promodeler-G . For the
-G, Eduard makes 3 PE sets (interior, exterior and armament), Squadron has clear parts, and TrueDetails does replacement resin wheels (all available from Squadron Mailorder). IMHO, The kit builds to a decent representation OOB, and you won't be able to see much of the interior detail, anyway.

Hi Guys,
I think it's a little off topic, but I heard somewhere that Trumpeter will release a B-17 in scale 1-35. cool isn't it?!

Eh, Nordland, are you sure it's 1/35 and not 1/32 scale ??
Would be cool though a B-17 in 1/32.
Wonder what it would cost ??

There's also talk of Mirage doing a new 1/48 scale B-17.
Whoever tackles it, the investment will be enormous - I remember a few years ago Accurate Miniatures saying it cost $1000 per kit part to produce the masters...
... so translate that into the kind of detail we expect (particularly in 1/32 scale)... I hope Trumpeter have got a healthy bank-balance...
A 1/32 scale B-17 would be awesome... how about a Lanc to go with it!!
All the best
