Here's the finish of the SBD-3 Dauntless dive bomber,
a trumpeter kit in 1/32 scale.
Generally a good kit for assembly although the rivets and panel lines are a bit too exaggerated.

Really, your Dauntless looks great! Although the panel lines and eivet detaul may seem too much, they add depth and texture to the kit making it more visually ineresting.

What a truly outstanding build. The paint and weathering is absolutely 1st rate.

The only issue I have is that the center section of the dive brakes were painted the same Gray as the bottom of the aircraft, not Red. 9+ out of 10 builds have this error. I made the same mistake on my 1/48 scale Hasegawa kit, I ended up repainting it after the error was also pointed out to me. To this day I can't see the reasoning behind the use of gray for just the center dive brake.
