Hi all,
here is the polish bomber with which i enlisted in the last "Bomber" campaign. I failed to finish it before the dead-line so i create this post to show the sequel ....
So, if i well remember, here is the last step i reached in the campaign, painting of the interior (with a bit of scratch-build)
After that i enclosed the fuselage and put the wings
Then i have a long time of "masking the canopies", i hate doing that ...
And then i painted the bird, with paintbrush and Humbrols, i had to pass many coats
And then i had one of my worst idea since a while....i tried a new mat varnish bomb....without trying it on a wreckage....and here was the disaster ....
Fortunatly i used it only on the intrados...so i took my abrasive sheets and removed the paint, and my putty to fill the split which appeared underneah...
And here is the new paint, and this time i used my good old Klir to protect it
cheers
nico

Hi Nicolas,
respect for Your effort in rescueing this plane after the varnish desaster. Sadly, I know this failure very well, but my last befallen plane ended against the wall. So cheers for saving this one.

Nico,
good job on Los. You just brought all the memories back... I build it when it was released somewhere in the mid of 80's... It is a beautiful aircraft... I got few of them on my stash, in 1/48 from Mirage. One of those days i will build one too. Good job.

Very nice build of a rarely modeled aircraft Nico. You really showed a great deal of perseverance overcoming the clear coat disaster and your finished build shows that you did an outstanding job fixing the damage. I admit that mine would very likely have ended up in the trash can.
