Dear Kittyhawk. PLEASE Give us a 1/35 osprey.

I feel deprived of a descent kit of a flight system that I see everyday where I live. They fly over my house daily and do practice troop drops at the local county airport. Yet I find my only choice the old italeri kit. So I am asking kittyhawk to finish there line of modern USMC rotor craft with an osprey. I would prefer a large scale kit but am probably dreaming. How does everyone else feel about the idea.

A 1/35 Osprey would be cool. I would rather they complete/release their AH-1Z and UH-1Y in 1/35 first. A whole 1/35 Huey family would be more welcomed by me than the Osprey actually.

I would also like to see a 46 in 1/35th. I thought trumpeter would step up after they released there 47s but never happened.

Have to agree with Gino here, new line of 1/35 hueys would sell like the proverbial hot cakes.
Patience.

I was last year in National Harbor for a conference and everyday a few Ospreys flew above the Potomac river. Never saw these ones in real life, but it was an impressive sight it was, so yes a 1/35 Osprey would be great.
(we also saw a B-52 flying pretty low, also very impressive)

No argument from me on the hueys. I seem to remember a 46 conversion that used the trumpeter 47 kit. Seems it would be easy for trumpeter to drop a 46 kit onto the market. I think we will see a large scale huey from kittyhawk just a matter of time. While we are at it how about an Apache kit.
My wish list
1/35 osprey
1/35 46 frog
1/35 apache
1/35 ch 53e (dreaming)
1/35 sikorsky h-19 or h-34

I remember the Revell Huey/OH6 combo box from Revell and thinking man I'd love to build those some time, still do. A couple CH53 variants in 1/35 wouldn't be bad either. If they make a 1/35 Osprey they better offer parts to let the rotor blades fold up and maybe the scissoring wing section too as taking up way too much space otherwise, definitely joining the group that wants to see it being produced.

I don't recall any such conversion and it would be impossible. The aircraft are totally different in size and shape. They only look similar. A CH-47 Chinook is quite a bit bigger.

Damn wonder what conversion I saw for the trumpeter 47 kit. I remember looking at it but it was sold out.

That's right, Floyd offered both the MH-47E and MH-47G conversion sets.
