Hi there everyone, I just bought the above kit and I was wondering if anyone of you has built one and has any tips to offer me regarding building, painting and accuracy. Though I can't really complain considering that the Italeri kit is £8.99 and Hasegawa's offering is £24.99, I'd just like to know and take advantage of the wealth of knowledge and experience of these hallowed forums.

I hear tales that the cockpit represents the earlier "A" model, but overall a good kit.

I've checked and yes you're spot on. It is the AH-64A cockpit. Is there an aftermarket resin cockpit for this kit or, worst case, one for another kit that can be made to fit?

Hi There
If this kit is the same kit that is marketed by Testors then i believe that it is actually a model of a prototype Ah64 longbow apache.I got the testors kit from ebay a while back and some one mentioned this. for more info try a post on here,

Hi there (again)
I've just been and got kit no (863) Italeri's Ah64 Longbow Apache because i wanted to build the Wah 64 version. It looks very much like the Testors kit with a extra sprue for the wider body etc.The only problem i can remember with the Testors kit is getting the canopy to fit together properly with the doors shut.

If you are building the WAH version, don't forget to delete the missiles on one side!!!!

Any build tips, advice, pit falls, etc? I heard about the totally wrong swash plate and tail rotor.
