:-) I thought you guys might like to see these, They are hand painted by Harri, one of the guys I work with (see my post in the Junk Draw) on aluminium sheet. I think they're awsome. :-)

Wow, Now there's some talent that should be applied to the nose of a model.
Like Brandy asked, what size are the sheets he painting on?

Wow, fantastic!
Are these done as a hobby or for sale? They are incredible. :-)
Are the "rivets" embossed from the back of the sheet?
All the best

Superb work.
If these were printed for framing they would sell like hot cakes.

:-) Oooops sorry guys, I ment to measure them but forgot. I've handed them back but I think they are about 10" x 8" or 8" x 6". I'll ask Harri and confirm. Yes Rowan the Rivets are embossed from behind. He has sold some I believe, but to cheap for the time and effort involved. My pictures don't really do them justice. He was showing me a painting of a Spitfire and a Fokker Dr 1, they were outstanding too :-) Oh yes nearly forgot, this is the guy that painted the Tigers heads on (forgot the Squadron) Hawk trainers. He does a bit of modelling as well, looks pretty good from the pics I've seen.
I've suggested that he produce artwork for decals, then they can be sold for a price people will pay. with decals done properly you wouldn't be able to tell and they would look almost as good. Plus the decals could be produce in any size, imagine a full sized Memphis Belle piece :-) that would look great on your modelling room wall :-)

Hi again...
The sizes mentioned would not be a problem for modern technology scanning for printing.
A limited edition print run might not be too expensive in the long term, as I think they would SELL,...I know I would buy a set.

Hi Mel,
Long time no talk. How's every thing?
Just wonder if the mate of you is willing to part one of the drawing, be really willing to purchase one from him at a reasonable price.
Thanks Bud.

:-) Hi Dave, everything's just fine, still managing to eat pork on a regular basis :-)
Harri has sold a couple but people haven't been willing to pay what they're worth. I spoke to Harri today and he is certainly willing to sell you one. I'll give you his e-mail address, in a PM and you can discuss it with him. Remember these are original hand painted pieces.
Oh by the way they are 8" x 6". I'm still trying to get him to produce artwork for decals so he can make these available to a wider audience :-)
