I think the Russian designers have it all over the west when it comes to sleek looking machines. {except for the SR-71] I'm looking forward to this kit.

That would be me. I don't think I will be too sad to see the old ESCI kit go though. I had actually begun a bit of work on it before shelving it a few years ago. It's a terribly flawed kit, although for the time, and based on the sketchy info available in the west on the Tu-22, I suppose it was not bad.
Several of it's many flaws were nearly impossible to fix without serious scratch-building. If the Modelsvit kit scales out at all well, I will happily bin the old ESCI one.
