Hi all,
when sort of planning a way of displaying, in my case, aircraft, the wife suggested glass cases on the wall with the planes mounted flat and vertically like butterflies. I think its a good idea.
Any thoughts on this with possible method of securing the planes safely and any other ideas other than normal shelving?
Thanks and cheers.
Peter

They'd need to "bolted" to the case back....... a bolt in the fusalage a spacer and nut on the back.

Hi,
I have a suggestion for you but I don't know how difficult it would be to work with.
If you have your planes mounted flat against the wall it would be neat if you could mount them on a small square mirror so you could see all the great work you do on the underside of the plane too.
I have seen some modelers make bases out of mirrors that their planes sit on and this would almost be the same kind of thing - just mounted on the wall.

Let me know if you do try it and how it works out,
Wayne
