I have a model of a late spitfire the XIV in 1/48 from Academy I want to try my hand at
and wouldn't ya know my luck the darn prop blades weren't in the kit and as Academy won't respond to my numerous emails and two snail mail letters I guess I'm stuck looking for an aftermarket source, but so far no luck on that either,so I would like to know some good sources for this type of item if any such exsists. Thx
Happy Modeling

Hmmm, U could try looking into eBay. I don have blades for spitfire, but i do have extra blades for a hurricane mk1 1/48. I know the spitfire mk XIV has 5 blades and the hurricane mk1 has only 3
, but i'll be glad to send 'em to u if u need it.

MM,
Contact me via my e-mail at (shameless website plug) www.geocities.com/modelcitizen62/anchorroundel.html . I've got a spare set of Hobbycraft Mk. XIV blades from a conversion I'm doing.
