matt!, ...just relax.......put the impulse down on the table and simply step away............that's right matt, just relax your shoulder's and let your mind think of pleasant things....yes, pleasing things...things with armour,...things with big clankity tracks, and huge barrels that go "Boom!".........that's right matt, I can tell your falling back into the groove........that's better.
...................Now, ya got it. :-)

Hi Matt,
I had done the A-1H Naval version, and also have the A-1J version. The kit is so good, that you can build an awesome A-1H just OOB. The kit went together very well, I don't even think I used that much glue whilst doing it. The only thing lacking was that the kit seat is something that can be improved, but if you choose to stick the pilot in, then no biggie there.
Armaments in the box is sufficient to arm a nice looking A-1H, only thing that I'd like to see is some naplam bombs, which should be easy to scratch build, I scratch built two on my A-1H using 250lb bombs.
The decals in the box went on quite nice too, I don't understand the fuss about tamiya decals, I use them and also had used some AM decals, and I don't think Tamiya decals are that bad.
All in all, a very good kit, and it's really impressive when done.
Hope it helps.

Matt if you can the prop action Spad, go for it same kit as the A-1H but has small touch start motor. They are nice and if you filch hiding the power supply makes for a nice in flight Dio. you can also use the Just Plane Models 1/48th carrier deck and set it on the there along a white strip. Spad didn't need a catapult to luanch so you don't have to worry about scratch building the cat channel. STUG
