Hi,
I'm in need of a little help on this one.
I'm planning on using the ye olde Airfix Liberator (yes I know there are better Libbys but it's in the stash and needs building) with the Pavla GR.V/VI conversion set. But I'm finding the retractable belly radome fit vague. So my question is this, was the ASV radome a direct replacement of the ball turret using the original turrets hole, or was the hole faired in or recovered just leaving a slot big enough for the radome to slip through?
Most photo's I've found don't show the installation very clearly. What I could really do with are some shots of the belly or good scale drawings.
Thanks
