Great start of an interesting model. Daniels work looks great so far!
Many thanks for explaining every step so well.

Look at the size of the plane compared to that figure. This plane must really be huge for a fighter jet. But overall the painting looks really good with great detailing.

So this is the second fastest turbine powered jet. So what is the fastest turbine powered jet?

All jets are turbines. The fastest is the SR71. All faster aircraft had rockets and weren't terribly useful.

I would have thought the SR-71 was the fastest but i didn't think it was in category with other fighter jets since it wasn't capable for fighting but instead is used for reconnaissance.
In that case I never thought the MIG-31 could fly so fast it comes second place to the SR-71, a plane known for its speed which can fly so fast it can out run a missile.

I built a 1/144 foxbat wayy back when I was a kid and I've loved them ever since. Such an animal. And it was cloaked in mystery for all those years until Mr Belenko brought one over. Nothing helps make an aircraft attractive like some mystique.
Not too mention we wouldn't have the F15 if it weren't for it!

Me too, If this kit is anything like the AMK Fouga then it is excellent.
And it contains, just like the fouga, complete engines which is something I have been begging for for a long time.
And the skills of Dani Zamarbide makes one drool
The mission: Beat the stash.
Almost conquered: MIG-29, Blackhawk, Skyray, Skyraider, fouga
Main battle:Demon, Skyhawk, F-14, CH-53
Stash reserve:Blackhawk, CH-46, 47 en 53; SU-7, Eurofighter, mohawk, hellcat, F-16D, 6x Fouga Magister, Voodoo

Thanks for the kind comments guys.
I just uploaded the updated manuals for the MiG-31BM 88003 kit. The second production run has newer manuals to take into account one feedback we had about swapping some parts over to hide two ejection marks. Parts G11 and G12 are now reversed.
Please download them all to make sure you have the latest manuals. The previous aren’t wrong, these are just improved.

I've ordered 2 kits from my local shop, I hope they'll get them soon.
Good choice on the decals. Like with the new mig-29smt by GWH finally we receive actual service markings with "ВВС РОССИИ" markings and not only decommissioned soviet markings

Are these two wonderful engines really totally hidden in the fuselage?
In that case: what a shame!!
Need to find an alternative to that

That's some really nice panel line was and surface painting. Shows the quality of the AK interactive paints and washes. I would dream to get the surface of an aircraft that well painted.
