A somewhat strange inquiry, I recently got hosed on eBay (the seller DID make up for it) and bought what was sold as Testors' 1/72 scale F-19, only to realize it was their MiG-37 'Ferret-E' kit. Initially I thought it was their 1/72 scale offering, but upon cross referencing the kit number, 502, there's all indications it's 1/48 scale. The issus is somewhat exacerbated as the kit was purchased box-less. Now, given the somewhat shady way everything went down, I can't be 100% sure the instructions that came with the kit are correct to the kit. Wondering if anyone has either the 1/72 or 1/48 MiG-37B and would be willing and able to pull some dimensions off their sprues, to a agreed upon benchmark dimension(s), so I can attempt to verify what scale kit I actually ended up with? Honestly I can't be sure looking at it visually, so I figure some dimensions would clear the air. Anyone?

Alrightly...so to make up for the disappointment of a F-19 not arriving as anticipated I put in an order for said 1/72 kit and it's arrived and it's tiny. So out of sheer comparison it's pretty clear the MiG-37 is 1/48 and the instructions that came with it are good. One orders a 1/72 F-19 on eBay and a 1/48 MiG-37 arrives...go figure.
