Eduard''s first Limited Edition kit for 2016 is the 1/48th SBD-5 Dauntless, first released by Accurate Miniatures way back in 1997. Andy Brazier pops open the box on this new boxing.

Andy,
Another excellent review. I particularly enjoyed your well detailed history of the SBD. I just have to get one as I'm a huge SBD fan. The Eduard PE cockpit upgrades and wheels are a most welcomed addition.

Thanks Joel.
You have Eduard to thank for the history, as it is on their instruction manual.

Andy,
Then thanks to both of you.
I only wish that Eduard would have given us the option to back date it to a -3 for the Battle of Midway. Yeas ago I built the Hasegawa 1/48 scale kit, and it was ok but had it's issues.
