Hi Guys-

WeWillHold, Pnzr-Cmdr, Generalzod, and myself are organizing a "Pig Pile" group build. The rules are now posted in the DSB forum...
https://armorama.kitmaker.net/forums/24422&page=1

hehehe - all you Fluvians are invited to join in with us Piggies.....

Take a gander at the rules.... If you are interested in participating, start your own thread in the DSB forum for us to "vote" on your next project. Also... don't forget to put your 2 cents in on all of the rest of the "lists" that are posted... lol

This should be fun :-)

Hi Nelson

That's a neat idea - submitting a list of subjects and getting other people to decide what you should build. My own pile of unbuilt kits is enormous... it needs something like this to make a dent in it!

All the best

Hi again

The question is... do I make a list of some the kits I've always wanted to build, but never got 'round to, or do I list the horrors that I wish I hadn't bought!?

Either way, it could be a long list!

All the best

What a great idea, however as a wolf I could not enter the DSB sty. Well I would, but I couldn't be responsible for my actions, cos I like pork so much. However as Bulldog #6 I might :-) I have another problem with this idea, great as it is. Some of the kits I have I don't wont to build, some armour and 1/72 modern jets and helicopters. It is quite obvious that, if I listed all my kits, the choice for me, more than likely, would be an armour model, because it's different to what I usually build. The problem with that is that I just wouldn't get round to finishing it. No matter how much I wanted to. I tried in the Barbarossa build, a simple panzer II, but had no enthusiasm for it at all Some of my 1/48 WW II kits I'm just not ready to start, B17, Lancaster, to name just 2, because I want to go to town on them and the time scale is insufficiant. Plus with all the other projects on the go. If I was to join in I would have to "cheat" and list only the models I'm prepared to have a go at, which actually leaves a big choice, but I guess that would not be fair on others taking part. So unfortunately, as tempting as this is, and it is really tempting, I must decline on the grounds of fairness

Well that probably counts me out! I've got so many, I'd still be compiling the list long after the build is over!! Plus, of course, people would die of old age reading it...

Mal's got a good point about the difficulties - there are plenty of kits in my stash which I'd love to build but simply can't at the moment, due to lack of space.

I'm happy to make up a "shortlist" of stuff I'm prepared to build - how about 50 kits? - for people to select from.

All the best

Yeah!! Nice one!!

I hope it's still in the spirit of things - trust the Wolves to be awkward...

I'll start making a list - and don't worry... I'll make sure there's a good quota of "kits from hell" in there - how about a ****? No, I won't give any clues.

All the best

:-) Well if your sure a shortlist will do, I'm game. I took my first look into the pig sty, and yep, sure enough the pig of members kits seem to be getting picked. If it's in fun though I'm in. Just give me a week to complile my list :-)

Mal, it'd be awesome if in your pile, there is an airfix Lightning.

Yea Guys... hehe

This is all in fun, so no worries there :-)

I realize that some of you guys hoard kits........ lol and it would be impossible to post a FULL list. I myself must admit that I didn't include all of my figure sets and such, that I already have plans for right now. I just listed the kits that have been sitting a while - AND that I would be willing to have a go at. (I convienently forgot to include my 1/72 aircraft... lol)

Shhhhhh, keep it hush hush

Well Jeff!! - If i'm going to dish the dirt on what 's in my cupboards, I think we deserve to hear about these 1/72 scale aircraft...

Anyway, i've started preparing a list in my head... plenty of short-run stuff, some real stinkers (up to the Piggies to spot them!! (Shut up Mal!! ) ) and even a few vehicles - I honestly don't have that many.

All the best
