Is there any good MIG-15 in 1/48 scale around?
I hear the trumpeter has lots of issues?

Your choices are Trumpeter or Tamiya. They've both got their issues, but neither of them can be mistaken for anything but a MiG when you're done, and the available aftermarket parts for each kit can do a lot.

I second that!!
I have built the Trumpeter which is more accurate that Tamiya but a pain in the a** to build.

I have started Tamiyas, but with the Ciro correction for the tail I still have no good idea to prevent tailsitting...
all the best

I'g go with the HobbyBoss MiG-17 which is the youngest of the kits and thus should at least build o.k. (looks good in the box, but the 15 also did not look that bad.
just my 2ct
