This is an old but superb LS kit that I picked up from one of the swap meets last year. I thoroughly enjoyed building this bird and the end result was not bad either. It was a quick weekend build. Decals were OOB and the paints were model master gull gray and Tamiya flat white acrylics.
Now, some pictures
Let me know , how you like it

Nice build!
But the kitīs nose job is completely wrong - spoiling the overall appearance of the model.
Sorry - no offence to the builder, although!!

Wow!!
An oldie but a goodie. Just a superb effort. The finished results speak for themselves.

Nice looking model. One of my favorite kits.
true, the masking around the nose is "unique", but nice work on the cockpit glass and prop tips!

I have seen a few pictures with Japanese Orions having a black nose. Can anyone pinpoint what is exactly wrong on this very nice build? I am interested to build this one as well.
Many thanks,

Thanks everybody for the compliments and I am with you guys on the nose accuracy. The nose is off quite a bit because I do have the 1/72 Hasegawa kit and did a comparison of the shape. It is off.

There's nothing at all wrong with the colours. The problem is that the kit's windscreen is much too vertical and also too flat across when viewed from above. Compare the model to this image:
