No, its not a Bf 110G-4 its the 1/72 scale Dragon Me P.1101 I recently finished.

The model was built O.O.B. except for the decals.

Here is the Me P.1101 Nightfighter during its official rollout.

Below is an image I found on the net while doing research on the Me P.1101, this appears to be a frame from color movie film of the Me P.1101 V-1 and is the only color photograph of this aircraft I have seen. The 74/75 paint on the wing is interesting as well as the white cross.

More pictures of the model to be posted later.

i'll hold my hands up Les, i was expecting to see a 110G in this thread!

thats a fantastic paint job on your kit, and the period style photos could easily be mistaken for the real thing!

Thanks Phil!

Actually I DO have a 110G-4 in-progress, it should be finished a week or two.

A couple more pictures of this model...

Brilliant work, Les. I actually saw her at MOM, so was waiting for you to post a thread.

Relly nice! Dragon did a bunch of really fun what-ifs in the 1990s, this is one of my favourites! One could suspect that the Saab J 29 "Flying barrel" took some inspiration from this one !

Les,
Just a solid build with one of your exceptional paint schemes and perfect decaling.

Thanks guys!

Magnus,
The Focke-Wulf Ta 183 II looks even more like the J 29.
