I am starting an MD 520 using the Academy kit as a start. Here it is so far.

CMK has just released a very nice resin windscreen of the pointy type to go with the conversion to the NOTAR, also I removed the front doors on the kit.

more work on interior and I will use the tall landing skids but I have shortened them a little to be more accurate.

pilot for the helo came with the kit but will be modified with new head.

This is a very nice looking scratch build you are working on.

Nice build. Scratch work looks good so far.
I too have the same build intentions, and possibly an MD 600.

made a little progress, got the seams done on the cabin part and glued on the tail boom, now need to blend it in.
