In review the instructions for my 1/48 Tamiya DeHavilland Mosquito FB Mk.VI/NF Mk. II, the color call-out for the wheel well portion of each engine nacelle is Tamiya AS-12, i.e., (Spray Can) Bare Metal Silver. This color is indicated for both the the walls and the ribs of the walls.
Although I've seen a few models online that painted that portion of the wheel wells aluminum with the top of the wheel well RAF interior green-grey, most people seem to just paint the entire wheel well RAF interior green-grey.
Anyone know which color was more common for the wheel wells?
(I've also seem the same color indicated for the wheel wells in my other Tamiya Mosquitoes including the bomber and night fighter variants.
