Sweet set up Winston! I am going to buy the Red Star upgrades soon for my Su-9. AK Interactive has a new paint set for Soviet A/C 1950-70 that includes the Sukhoi cockpit gray and the Radome green.

Winston,
Your Fishpot looks great!
Man, where have I been? I didn't know anyone made a 1/48 SU-9. I gotta get one. Now, if only we can get a nice injection 1/48 Flashlight or Firebar!

Keeping my fingers crossed Xutong is coming out with the IL 28 and possibly some of the others. Trump also has a nice Su 11.

Winston, excellent job! I have the same kit and I noticed that the decals lack the white and red border on the stars. Trumpeter forgot I guess. But a nice build, nonetheless.

I noticed that as well but the Heavy Interceptor and the SU books I have by Yefim Gordon show most VVS planes didn't have the white border, Just Tac and Strategic aircraft. VVS is the Soviet version of our ADC from what I remember. Thanks this kit was alot of fun to build glad you like it Now to build the 11 and the Mig 25
