Hi, I’m about to start a build of two 1/48 Do-335’s. Tamiya's DO-335 A-1 with Kettenkraftrad and Tamiya’s Do-335 A-12 trainer. Has anyone made either of these kits, and if so, what did you think of them. Any pit falls, or do they just fall together ?? Thanks for any tips.

Hi there,
There is a photo of the Do 335 A-1 in my gallery, the model has been finished in the Extra Colour range, with the weathered effect, done with Tamiya Acrylic 'Smoke'. The kit goes together well with little or no vices. I have the Do 335 A-12, which I intend to build as the Do 335 B-1 [with all the resin aftermarket enhancements], replicating the aircraft the French Captured and flew for a short time.
I hope it helps with your project.

29 Fox, why are you converting the trainer?? Tamiya released a Do-335B with guns and all a few months ago why not build that. they also have decal for the French version as well. STUG
