The canopy and pitot tube are installed. I saw a lot of pictures showing a white border around the canopy, it seems to be on a lot of 50's era planes, was on my Banshee and Panther, I am thinking maybe it was a heat strip to defrost the canopy? Anyways I put a white decal to represent it. I think I have found more bombs, all that's left is arming the pylons, decals and antenna wire.---John

Hi John,
Very nice - one of my favourite aircraft.
The dark blue looks really sinister - I'm sure the decals will make it 'pop'.
Regards,
Kobus

I have the bombs almost all on. I am using 4 250lb bombs on each outer wing then a 500lb bomb on each inner pylon and a 1000lb bomb on the center line rack. The last 4 250lb bombs are coming in the mail soon. I also ordered decals from Euro Decals for an AD-4 of VA-115 during the Korean War. It is an early dash 4 so I had to cut off 2 of the 20mm guns, early dash 4s only had one 20mm cannons per wing.---John

I have the decals on, they're not bad but a few silvered on me. I don't know why as this was a very glossy paint job. I still have to sand and paint the last 4 250lb bombs and paint the lights and add the antenna wire.---John
