I am in the middle of 1/32nd scale Spitfire and had this kit in my closet, it is a 1/48th snap tight kit from Pegasus so it is not super detailed but it is a very nice kit as far as surface detail and such, so while I painted the big one I just pushed this one into the paint shop at the same time as I was using the same colors. It does need better landing gear so I stole some from an Eduard kit as it came with two and didnt need the early ones, also I used the extra canopy from the Tamiya kit and the pilot is a conversion of one of the crew members of the Tamiya Lancaster.
