Just thought I would post a few photos of my 1/32 Tamiya P-51D Mustang builds ... All the Mustangs have Alclad finishes and After Market decals, Barracuda Cockpits and other goodies.
Enjoy

Peter,
You do a mighty fine Alclad finish! The rest of the details look great, too!

Pete,
I don't honestly ever recalling hearing of anyone let alone seeing 3 completed Tamiya 1/32 P-51D builds, and all in NMF glory too boot. Of course, I did live through each build on nearly a daily basis, so I'm more then well aware of what it took to get them to the finish line with a NMF.
Just a heads up, but you double posted one picture of Old Crow.

Thank yo for the very kind compliments on my Mustangs .. just nothing like a Tamiya kit and I'm pretty much hooked. I'm partial to NMF and Alclad has really helped to take the pain out. I've been tinkering with the AK system and find they are both about equal in application and results.

Yup, your sure did suffer through all the Mustang builds and I still have a few to go in the stash. Of course, the P-51B will be here next year, so I'm sure the suffering will be on again.
If you look real close, you will see the second and third photos of Old Crow and very close but not the same. If I could figure out how to edit the original post, I'll change the third image.

Actually, I'm looking forward to it.

Peter,
I'm sure there are a lot of people here that would like to 'suffer' as well.

Hi Peter
Wow! A stunning showcase of Alclad excellence!
Hmmm - a P-51B is on the way. I might save up and treat myself to one of those one day (I've always preferred the "razorbacks"). Ohh, for an Allison-engined Mustang from Tamiya too.
All the best

So very much appreciated. The 1/32nd scale P-51B is "confirmed" but who knows when. I'm hoping for next year as well and will be building at least three, as I already have the Zotz decals for the 'Stangs.
