That looks very nice, certainly very much better than the Pacific Coast Mk I offering! It isn't a short run kit though? The sprue gates look like main stream and there are locating pins. The surface detail also doesn't suggest a limited run kit?

The clear masking material is very interesting, do they come with "transfer tape" cut in the same material? if not then you will have to use something else which, if it isn't also of a similar "tack" it will cause problems releasing the masks and, of course will negate the only positive of them The other issue with fully clear masks will be the repositioning of the required elements, it can be difficult enough with roundels, but if you are struggling to see the edge it will be more so. You will definitely need to add reference lines

I'm very keen to make a start on the Hurricane - but I must finish some builds I have underway first.

@ Mal - they've left plenty of spare material on the sheet to use to transfer items and I think the edges show clearly enough to allow positioning OK. The only small niggle I have is that the various items aren't sectioned off on the sheet. No big deal, but a straight edge and a fresh scalpel blade will be a must.

That's cool but do they give you instructions on how to use them? I will be getting one of their Hurricane kits so I will be taking a look myself. I am really pleased to see paint masks in a kit but if there aren't any instructions then many are not going to use them. It is odd that items are not sectioned off on the sheet, it would take seconds to do that when the masks are cut!

Excellent review and absolutely on my buy list. Sure wish Fly would keep the range going and release a BOB Mk1a ... now wouldn't that be sweet.
