I'm signing up for the build. Can't wait to see your NMF, and as Fred said with those bright red markings. it should really be quite striking display model.
So far your improvements to the cockpit look really quite good.
As for using Eduard PE meant for one aircraft on another, I do it all the time. If it's an improvement over the kit parts, then you've made the right decision.
