New subject, 1/72 Hasegawa F9F-2 as an early Blue Angels jet, circa 1949 season. The blue was more like a royal blue, this was before they adapted the current color. Here's a picture of the color and my start.---John

In that last picture I was hoping Lois Lane would come hopping out of that Studebaker parked off to the right of the picture! Miss the good old days.---John

Cockpit installed in fuselage, I added weight to the area forward of the nose well.---John

I added weight to the nose, glued the horizontal stabilizers on and painted the rear deck and anti glare shield over the instrument panel flat black.---John
