Hi everyone,

Going to build the infamous Stuka on its last incarnation: the tank buster G version on the Armorama campaign - Tank Hunters. So decided to start this build topic.

Starting with Hasegawa 1/48 model, I added Aires for the cockpit and and wing cannon gondolas, plus Quickboost unspatted undercarriage and exhaust pipes.
The gun barrels are from Master.

Started a few days ago with the cockpit resin, painted 66 and washed for depth with oils. Still some deals left to pick and add, but so far the result looks pleasing to my eye.

Next step the guns.
Here are a few photos:

Comments and feedback are most welcome.

Cheers

Very nice, this is definitely a cut above the Monogram kit I made back in the Day!

Nice start!

The Master barrels certainly add the goods?

Yes, although the parts here are all Aires resin, the Hasegawa cockpit is not that bad, though I've never seen the Monogram kit to compare both.

The barrels are a real (must!) upgrade for the kit parts. Not even resin can reproduce with such finesse and detail the real gun as brass parts can... and when one builds a cannon plane all eyes will fall on them, so yes, a worthy investment in my opinion.

Thanks for the comments!

Cheers
Pedro
