Just started painting again after many years but what I'll like to ask is how do you know what colour Humbrol to use on Tamyia kits ?

Humbrol has a conversion application on their website. Other places along the web have conversion charts.

It really depends upon which kit and colour scheme option you're doing. Don't forget the IPMS Stockholm colour charts.
