i am trying but not succesfully to find what variant of Mil Mi 24 Hind did Cyprus bought and paint them overall black(very agressive ). Anf if this exists on a kit in 1/35 or i can convert the Trumpeter one to this version. If anyone can help. (in case you dont know Cyprus is a republic island near Greece )

Goose,
Here is a picture:
This is a Mi-35 Hind E, which is the export version of the Mi-24 E. The primary difference seems to be in avionics, requiring potentially a change in the antenna suite from the Trumpeter Hind E. If the Cypriot helicopter is the the M variant, then the gun is also changed, but I could find no reference to this being the case.
Hope this is a starting point,
Mika

Trumpeter 1/35 baby!!!
Coming soon to a workbench near you..
I can't wait for the 1/35th kit, now another cool scheme to do a Hind in.
Check out the review on Hyperscale 2-16 for the linden hill Bush War Hinds decals. Available in 1/72 and 1/48.
Maybe if we're lucky in 1/35th too...

Howdy MLD,
Took me awhile, but I tracked down http://www.lindenhillimports.com/ and checked out his great selection of decals. Very nice stuff. As you say, hopefully he will be producing the same set for the Hind in 1/35th scale. I wouldn't think it would be that hard, considering he must have it on computer. It's only a matter of mathematical extrapolation at that point.
Maybe we should start an Email campaign to that effect.

Exactly!!! You took the thoughts right out of my fingertips..
I was just sitting down to email them and ask if they were considering scaling them up for the impending Trumpeter Hind.
(loosely qouted from Alice's Resturant)
"But if two people ask... then they'll think they're both queers and they won't take either of them.
But if three people... can you imagine three people a day walking up, singing a bar of Alice's Restuturant and walking out.. why they'll think it's a movement."

Just so you know, I intend to Email them (Linden Hill Imports) and ask that very thing.

I've got three real nice pictures of the Hind used by the Air Force as an aggressor for escape and evation training. I tried finding them on the net again, but it looks like the USAF site I got them from no longer has the pictures available. I don't think I can put them up directly on my web page due to copyright, but if you want me to email them to you I would be happy to.

Have you started building it yet?
Is it as nice in person as it seems in the reviews?
How is the fit?
How are the e-pin marks?
inquiring minds drooling on keyboards, waiting for the kit to get to the states.

Haven't started building yet, but it looks absolutely magnificent in the box. I can't find any e-pin marks (so far). Can't comment on fit, but from reviews I've read, it's great. I'm really looking forward to my first helo build in about 25 years! I can hear all my armour kits groaning as they each take one step back in line! :-)
