Welcome to my build blog, this will be the largest platic model that I will have built so far.
I expect this build blog will run for a long time, I will post progress photos from time to time as I complete sub-assemblys and other things related to the B-17 as I feel like it.
Thanks for stopping by!

Richard,
I'm signing on as of right now, so I've got a front row seat. No problems at my end about following a long, long build blog. I've been a lifer on Brian's 1/48 scale B-17F build, and intend to toast him when he crossed the finish line.

Seat saved Richard, at the moment with the weather outside a blanket and mug of hot chocolate.

This should be good!
Popcorn and drink at the ready and now sitting comfortably waiting for the show to start.

I'm signing up too! I will follow this with great interest. It will be VERY interesting to see how true the kit is to B-17F specs! Feel free to look at my B-17F blog of "Luscious Lady" of the 303rd BG for all the fantastic F Model technical info that Karl Hauff provided.
Of course, if you are doing one of the versions featured in the kit decals, my vote would be for the 303rd BG's "Knockout Dropper," first B-17 in the ETO to complete 75 missions. I also have some pics of this bird you might find helpful.
