Hi folks!!
Here comes my new CL-13 "Sabre" in 1/48 scale. The kit comes from Revell (Hasegawa inside) and is really great. Good fit and nice details. Built out of box.
Germany used the "Sabre" from 1957 to 1964 with a total of 225 aircrafts.
My Model shows an aircraft of the 2./JG71 "Richthofen", Ahlhorn (Germany), 1961.
Cheers
Stefan

Stefan,
Wonderful build! Is that "Bubi" Hartmann's Sabre? I have the old reboxed Monogram Luftwaffe Sabre. I think it is "Richthofen", too.
For my money, the Luftwaffe Sabres were the best looking with their camouflage and markings.

Thanks, Frederick!!
The Sabre is a very beautiful aircraft.....with a little legacy of the Me 262 .
I also like the USAF-Silverbirds with their colorful markings.
I believe "Bubi" Hartmann flew the "JA 111" with red tulip on the nose?!
Cheers

Very nice build and a colorful paint job-love this bird! And true, Hartmann's unit with personal markings was: Canadair Sabre Mk 6 Luftwaffe JG 71 Richthofen, #JA-111, red nose & tail.

Stefan,
Impressive build for sure. And your camo paint scheme with perfect decaling is just eye catching.
