News sleuth Tim Hatton [Litespeed] discovered that Airfix has released on their website CAD images of a new tool 1/72 Messerschmitt Me 262 A-1a Schwalbe.

Airfix looks like they are striving to make up for lost years and set the standard for future model makiers.

Especially with this kit - that old Airfix Me 262 had problems, like a rear fuselage with a circular cross-section. Of course I only paid a buck for it.

We do need a good 262 in 1:72. The Academy and Revell kits have some flaws and Hasegawa is quite expensive here.
So i am really look forward to this and other new tool kits from Airfix.
