Hi all, sure this will have been asked and answered before but what's the best way to thin putty? I got a tube of humbrol from the local shot and honestly it's like 45 seconds out and it's nearly solid. I tried a few drops of liquid glue which helped but only for about an extra 20 seconds.
Cheers
Ian

Never used Humbrol putty. What I use is Squadron putty (green or white) and Testors (Model Masters) liquid cement. I also used auto putty (spot putty) generically called Bondo here in the colonies

I've never used Humbrol putty, so I don't have a specific answer. But if you look at the ingredients on the label it will tell you the base type. just add a few drops at a time of that base to thin it.
