This looks like the "historic" upgrade kit with updated sprues for the radiators, bombs and cockpit. Actually builds into a rather nice specimen when finished. I have the historic upgrade kit with the book.

The new tooled parts are a real improvement over the original parts.
Shorten the undercarriage and the MG barrels and it will look o.K.
Guess for the same price you get the much better new tool Revell Ju 88.

I liked the Italeri kits of 'back then". If this one is priced right, I am interested. Otherwise, what berndm said.
