Folks,
bit of a shot in the dark but in case anyone has had a similar situation...
I have an (old) Airfix JU88 A-4 1/72 kit and I see Eduard do a canopy mask for the same aircraft but the Italeri kit.
In anyone's experience would a mask suffice for another manufacturers kit?
I'm not too concerned if it's not a 100% fit as anything would be better than me trying to cut tape to fit.....
Cheers
Ian

I think you already know the answer. It probably wont fit precisely.
That said, it would be easy to lay down the masks, and trim them back or add a little tap to mask them out to the frames of your kit.

Ian - Have you ever tried BareMetal Foil for canopy masking ? I use it almost exclusively when the frame detail is sharp enough . Burnish it down over the canopy with a cotton bud ( Q -tip here in the USA ) - go around the frames with a rounded toothpick - then lightly cut along the frames with a new # 11 blade. Carefully remove the foil from the areas you want painted . A wooden toothpick sharpened to a chisel point helps in getting it started . No fooling around with dozens of individual pieces of tape. Any adhesive that remains cleans up easily with a Q tip moistened with mineral spirits.
Hope this helps - Richard
