A rather large update consolidated from a few other news articles. Here are a few new helicopter items of interest.

IsraDecal is offering a 1/48 set of SPIKE/NLOS missiles for IDF AH-1F Cobras. Set includes four Spike missile components and data link antenna with 27 resin parts, decals and instructions.


Master Models is offering a few new barrel and update sets as well.

AH-64 Apache M230 Chain Gun Barrel, pitot tubes and tail antenna in 1/32, 1/35, 1/48, and 1/72 scales.


Mil Mi 24 Hind JakB 12.7mm machine gun and Duas probe in 1/35, 1/48, and 1/72.


A.W.C. Models have announced a Mil Mi-8 MTV/17 in 1/48. Read more about it here.

The Hind gun looks really nice.

I'm still hoping for a 1/32 door mounted GPMG to fit to my Puma.

Do you have any more/better pics of the mount? It shouldn't be too hard to scratch and add a 1/35 L7A2 GPMG to it. From what I can gather, it looks like it is just a swing out pintle arm mounted just forward of the side cabin door.

Thanks Gino! That one will be helpful. I have a couple of GPMG's in my spares from a Challenger 2 so I might be able to build something. I wonder if the mounts from Tamiya's SAS Land Rover could be adapted too?

Am I right in thinking I can use the masters M230 barrel to replace the Cobra Company barrel on their Blackhawk DAP update ?

Hi Andy. Yes, the Masters M230 barrel set could be used w/the Cobra Company M230 DAP rig as well. It should look really nice on it.
