I wasn't going to do a blog on this but I liked how the kit cockpit came out so...
So far everything is straight out of the box.
Cheers Rob.

Looks great so far.
I shall be watching this with interest as I have one of these in the stash, ready for the Terrible Teens campaign.

Rob, I haven't crossed paths with you in awhile. Hope you are well. Anxious to see your Strike Eagle and that is a real gem of a kit.
Best wishes,
Ian

Thanks Oliver!
Got the nose attached and cleaned up a bit a little putty is needed. The tape is just to protect the grill that is there.
Cheers Rob.

In had to use my trusty Mission Models chisel to remove some ejector marks and some flaws on the conformal tanks I did not notice the problem with the tanks till after I had glued one in place. I also got a primer coat on. Still a bit of cleanup to do.
Cheers Rob.

I'd forgotten about your build and have just picked up this very kit for the terrible teens campaign.
Certainly looks like a nice kit and your progress is helping me speed along my current build to get it out of the way !

Glad you find it useful Paul!
I applied some perfect plastic putty with a syringe along some small gaps on the conformal tanks and the weapons mounts and after letting it setup I cleaned the excess with some sanding a wet q-tip and a pin.
Cheers Rob.
