Indeed, I finished something. Something I did not manage since February 2014 when I made a T-33.

After that it was nothing but starting...and never finishing

But now, here it is, its small, its maybe not that beautiful but I am pleased with it.

It's 1/48 like all my other projects that are in various stages of not being finished ...

And it's Tamiya. Actually a very nice little kit.

The painting is Alclad II. I put a base coat of semi matt aluminium and then did individual panels with polished aluminium, airframe aluminium ...

In fact, those pictures don't do the model much justice, the model is much better than what those photo's indicate.

I am, since ages now also working on the MIG-17 from SMER. And that is a completely different kit, much simpler and everything fits more or less, but the plastic has a very pebbly surface requiring a lot of polishing.

The metal finish is really great on these pictures already. Very nice work. Congrats on finishing this model!

Oooh, that's pretty! And it'll be nice to see it beside the -17 when you have it completed, but no pressure.
