I'm looking for your expert recommendations on a quality F-14 kit. I'd prefer a 1/72 scale.
Should I go Hasegawa or Tamiya (or other)? And if so--which kit!?
Thanks very much for your help in making up my mind.

In 1/72 scale I believe that the best kit is Hasegawa, unless you can get one of the FineMolds offerings sold with one of the japanese magazines

Too bad you want that puny little scale! LOL!
I loved the 1/32nd by Tamiya. The swing wings actually worked with just the touch of a finger unlike the Revell POS!
It's been a while but I remember how much I loved that plane!

I ended up getting an old Esci Ertl kit off of eBay for $6 shipped. It's a NICE kit! Loaded up with about $40 in AM, might look OK when I get her done. I need a canopy, though...the kit's is yell-O!
