Hi folks!!
For my long-term project "100 years of military aviation in Turkey" I 've got a new "member".
It's the RF-84F "Thunderflash" from Tanmodel in 1/48 scale.
This kit has been praised everywhere, but I had some problems with the assembly. Especially the windows for the cameras had a bad fit and also there were problems at the transition between the fuselage and wings.
But in the end, it worked out quite well.
Colors from Vallejo, Gunze, Revell and ModelMaster.

Cheers......
Stefan:)

Stefan,
That looks really, really good! I love the paint and weathering.

Did you paint the pitot tube, or is it a decal?

Ausgezeichnet!

I have one terrible question to ask. Is the flag on the right tail on backwards? I just don't know. A fabulous build either way.

Looks right to me.
Flags on aircraft are traditionally painted so that the hoist(the part of a flag nearest the flagpole), points towards front.

Thanks for your kind words, mates!!

The pitotube is painted with a brush.....from nearby you can also see it, Gaz
Brian, the question of the nationality flag on the right side of the rudder is often asked. And Pave-Hawk is right, it is required that the crescent with the closed side always has to point forward (in the direction of flight). Turkey has even a strict regulation for this.
