I take it that the campaigns on here are to be fun (otherwise why do it right? My wife might argue otherwise at times) and also to extend our modelling skill set.
There is one thing that I have avoided in building since my taking up the hobby again and that is aircraft that are bare aluminium.
Is there interest in a campaign for bare metal aircraft? I was thinking toward the end of 2017 start.

Hi, I'd love it. Got some aircraft in my stash for it (SU-15, Mirage, Spitfire etc.)

Sounds like a great idea. I think there was a NMF campaign a few years ago. My problem is, I'm booked for 2017. I would be open to joining a 2018 campaign. It might get me to finish my Ki-44 or P-51.
Take care,
Don "Lakota"

August 2009, the first Campaign that I led on Aeroscale, I took over when the original leader dropped out.
If this one starts in 2018 I might be able to find something in the stash as well.
Cheers, D

Ill make the 5th. This would give me a chance to see how everyone does the natural metal paint.

sounds good. an idea too, just a suggestion. since you mentioned improving our skills set, make one of the rules that everyone post their technique/process on how they painted/achieved their NMF. since there are what seems many different ways it would be an opportunity for some like me to learn. i have only done one NMF but i need to learn how to weather/oxidize the metal. maybe different types of aluminum finish like old alum or dull alum or different type of primmer.

Linus,
I make Damian's words mine also.
And I gotta agree with Joe's idea, sharing our skill on how to achieve a NMF will benefit us all.
Looking forward for this campaign, a P-47D might be my choice.
Cheers

I'll drink the 5th, it's the only way to excuse my NMF gaffs. Could twist my arm for a NMF F-100, F-104 in 2018.

I would be on board with this. lots of candidates.

That livery is quite appealing. I wonder what will tempt you back to the work bench...That kit looks like a boat load of work, .

I wouldn't mind a 2018 start for another campaign, I have a couple that might fit the bill for this build.

Hi, Guys!
I have a MiG 15 in my stash begging for a reason to fly out.
Beginning of '18 will be great.
Cheers!

I am already swamped with campaigns, even for next year.
but it is very tempting, certainly with the rule that participants should reveal how they have done their NMF. This could become a real eye opener to many of us.
So, if this campaign launches somewhere early 2018, I may join as well.
PS: Ouch, I did it again

I am in. Think I will end up doing my F-15A "streak" eagle with its variegated natural finish, should prove a challenge to paint.

I'm in! Just gotta figure out what to build... Two or 3 Huns in the mix, several F-84's, F-86's, A P-47 or two, F-80, T-33, B-58 (probably not) and a B-66 for sure.

Hi, guys.
I'm enlisted.
I'm keeping my initial choice: Eduard 1/72 MiG 15 Profipack (I have one in my stash and another one on the way - delayed by hurricane season over the Atlantic)
