After almost 3 years (yes really), I'm calling this done.
Aftermarket barrels, cockpit, wheels and horizontal stabilizers.
Masks from Mal.
I'm satisfied with the result and glad it's moved to the shelf.

It may have taken three years but an amazing result at the end.

Very nicely done Spud, how did you find the masks?
Can I pinch the pics for my FB page?

Considering it was my first time using them, they were great.
Excellent instructions. I've PM'd you the photos.

Nice build - it's not the easiest kit to build (despite it's age). What colour did you use for the top side gray? It looks off, but that could be a white balance issue.

The top side gray is XF-82 Ocean Gray 2 (RAF), could be off, blame it on the white balance or maybe the Calvados dust, looks ok on the shelf.
The kit is a bit 'gappy', especially as I've been on a diet of Eduard and Tamiya kits.
I found an article online from Chris Thomas that gave me a heads up before I started (unfortunately I've lost it),so it wasn't as bad as it could've been.
Having said that I'd do it again, maybe the car door version.

Spud,
Purely excellent! Love the subtle weathering and great way you're raised the details.
