Yesterday I bought Hasegawas 1/48 Bf-109E-3 Swiss Air Force. It was ten Euro cheaper than the other E-3 Hasegawa makes, so why pay more for the same aircraft with different decals. But…
I thought the Swiss and Luftwaffe E-3’s were the same aircraft except the Swiss ones being E-3a’s, which are E-3’s but without the armament. But looking in the box the only difference is the instrument panel.
Anyone know what the differences are between a Swiss Bf-109E-3 and a Luftwaffe Bf-109E-3 ??

I've never heard of a difference between Luftwaffe and Swiss Bf109s. All my references indicate that the Swiss a/c were painted with standard RLM paints and were fully armed, as here:
