fuselage seam help

Flyboys; When your seams don't match up do you find it better to build up one side or sand down the outher side to match them up.

whiterook - I do which ever serves to maintain the best cross section, sometimes that requires a little of both. Not much of the type of answer you were looking for I guess, so it's sort of up to you to choose.

I would agree with CRS, whichever leaves the correct fuselage profile. Usually on kits I try to get the upper surfaces to match as closely as possible. Any filling and sanding is then mostly underneath where it won't show if it is slightly inaccurate.

I agree, it all depends on what is necessary to make it correct....either sanding down or building up.
Building up might be as simple as a little extra filler or if its really "off" plugging large gaps with plastic card.
Every kit has its own needs.
