Hello,
Hugh here. I used to be a regular about ten years ago... Life got in the way unfortunately and for a while I dabbled in RC flying.
But a chance visit to a local hobby shop has rekindled my interest.... Specifically seeing Eduars SE5a on the shelf!
I recall about twenty years ago Eduard talking about doing the SE5a. Was never able to find out why it didn't come to pass back then. In the mean time, Roden released theirs in all the scales and of course the WNW kits are de regeur (sic). Talk on the Aerodrome forum when it was active was that Eduard may never actually bother.
But they have and it's a pearler huh!
I'll be adding a few kits to my still existing hoard. Built models have unfortunately not survived three house moves and a marriage breakup... So the hoard might get a beating in the near future.
Anyway, I felt I should jump on and say hi for those that remember who I am, and give you all fair warning that I intend to hang about for a bit.
Look forward to getting active again with the number 11 blade and the cyano.
Cheers,
Hugh

There you are old friend! I have been bandying your name around here abouts especially on the subject of the Point Cook SE 5a. Your images are still there in my 2008 thread and I brought a few forward for others benefit! All the best. Join me in the mess for a cup o Joe.
Good to see you here again!

Thanks all for your kind welcome (back).
Over the last couple of years I've been rediscovering the things that I love... and static WWI modelling is one of them.
Whether it be trawling for kits to buy, thinking about building them, actually building them or just spending time on freindly forums like this one having a good old chat.
Cheers,
Hugh
