Hi Gang, Even though I`ve been making models for close on forty years I want to "up my game" a little by using aftermarket seatbelts in my WW II Aircraft.
Being a newbie to this particular area I thought I`d come here to get some advice first (which manufacturer is best, best way to use them ?)
Any help or pointers would be great to avoid costly mistakes later on !.

Hello. I recently bought some GHW aftermarket and a Japanese brand. Not the colour etched from e.g. Eduard. It's laser cut paper / cardboard. Very delicate but nice to work with. It has more body. comes with some etch work for buckles as well. Little price up, but absolute great stuff. For WWII an excellent choice. I'm building 1/32, so I don't know on other scales.
Kind regards,
Robert Jan

Hi Danny - I largely work in 1/48th scale and while I have yet to use them I have purchased several sets of Eduards new "steel " color printed photo etch belts/harnesses as they have gotten very good reviews. They are reportedly much easier to "pose" then previous sets made of harder material- hope this helps and most importantly, have fun ! Richard
