Hello.

Special Hobby from Czech Rep. are offering a great kit of the Hawker Tempest Mk.V in 1/32 - one standard version and one "Hi-Tech" version which includes also some resin parts, photo etched parts, belts from HGW.


First I have glued the cockpit parts in separate groups ... you could see the mix of material here very well ...


















Painted and weathered ...




Washing in rusty red and black ....















Mounted in the fuselage ...

Hello,

the wings are mounted, the front with the big cooler installed.

Now some sanding and putty is necessary to close some smaller gaps ...

Solid looking start! How's the fit and finish?

One of these days I will finish my MDC Typhoon, I hit a wall when none of the control surfaces fit.
