Just posted in review, the He P1065 by Unicraft.
Merlin also has another imminent...a nice Japanese job I believe.
Cheers

Hi Peter
Nice review!
It's great to learn a bit about the people who run the "cottage industry" companies. Hat's off to Igor and Irina (and others like them) - it's their efforts which help make our hobby as rich and varied as it is.
Do Unicraft do any 1/48 scale stuff?
All the best

Unfortunately not. Mostly 1/72nd. Probably Igor is more pressed for room than us end-users.... :-)
The only 1/48th is an AWACS conversion for the Hobbycraft Arado Ar 234C.
But with the growing popularity for 1/48th in the future...who knows?

Thanks, Great review.
I am going to take the plunge and buy a couple of his kits. There is so much great stuff on his website. I like a lot of the Soviet prototypes and test aircraft. I am glad to see that the quality is pretty nice. I can handle cleanup, as long as the detail that's left afterwards looks nice. It should be wirth the effort.
Thanks again for the review.

Hi Dave,
The kits do need quite a bit of work, but they do turn out as nice models of very rare aircraft.
Did you check out the gallery pages on Unicraft site?
Cheers
